Indigenous Cultural Awareness Training.

Mamawii is a Michif term for altogether.

Mamawii is an Indigenous cultural awareness training workshop offered to governments and industry, created and delivered by founders of Indigenous Geographic, Matt LeMay and Crystal Martin.

Mamawii is designed to educate participants about the history, traditions and contemporary issues of Indigenous Peoples.

Through interactive activities and discussions, participants will learn about the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples, including their spiritual beliefs, cultural practices, and traditional knowledge. The training will also explore the impact of colonization and residential schools on Indigenous communities, as well as contemporary issues such as land rights, treaty negotiations, and reconciliation efforts. By the end of the training, participants will have gained a greater understanding and appreciation of indigenous cultures and the importance of indigenous communities.
